Tuition Assistance

The Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia is dedicated to financially assisting any trainee with demonstrated need who is accepted into the 3-year training program.

All trainees, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation are eligible for tuition assistance based on demonstrated financial need and amount of Tuition Assistance available.

In addition, trainees whose race, ethnicity, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation are under-represented in the GTIP community are eligible for additional tuition assistance based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

In order to apply for tuition assistance, the trainee should fill out an application, including uploading supporting documentation (past two years tax returns, personal and business checking, savings and investment statements). If you are in need of tuition assistance, we recommend that you apply no later than May 1.

APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE

The Tuition Assistance application process is very competitive and awards are need-based and dependent on how much Tuition Assistance GTIP has available. Contingent on available funds, requests for tuition assistance sent after June 1 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Tuition Assistance determinations are made by July 1 by a committee of Board and faculty members. All information submitted is confidential.

If you have any questions, please email GTIP’s Operations Manager, Laura Henrich at laurah@gtip.org

In addition to Tuition Assistance we have the Gloria E. Ramos Latinx Scholarship, which supports the professional development of a Latinx applicant accepted into the 3-year training program demonstrating financial need.
