About Me

Joanna has clinical experience working with the chronically ill, hospice, and older adults as well as therapeutic experience with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Life Transitions, Grief and Bereavement. Her approach is Humanistic/Client-Centered and integrates Gestalt, Narrative, Psychodynamic, Existential, and Mindfulness theories. Joey earned a Certificate of Completion from the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia (GTIP); MSW from Temple University; BA in Social Work and Certification in Gerontology from Cedar Crest College. Joey identifies as a bi-racial, cis woman (she/her/hers) committed to social justice and de-centering whiteness. In her free time she enjoys writing, reading, theater, and video games.
