About Me
Alisa (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Philadelphia. She specializes in working with adult children of narcissists and runs a support and recovery group for these individuals entitled, “Shattering the Mirror.” She has experience in the treatment of eating disorders and complex trauma.
Alisa graduated from GTIP in 2018, and also holds a Level 1 certification in Dr. McBride’s five-step recovery model for treating adult children of narcissistic parents. She is currently completing her Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems Therapy and has additional training in somatic and embodiment work. Alisa received a Bachelors of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a vocal music director, as well as professional actress for many years. She then went on to receive her MSS from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. In her spare time, Alisa enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, exploring the city, biking, downhill skiing, and playing with her dog and cat.
