Gloria E. Ramos Latinx Scholarship

GTIP Board member Michael Tyler Ramos, LCSW generously started this scholarship to honor his mother, Gloria E. Ramos for the sacrifices she made as a single mother of four and domestic violence survivor.

This scholarship supports the professional development of Latinx applicants accepted into the 3-year training program demonstrating financial need. Preference will be given to pre-licensed professionals.

The scholarship aims to increase the representation of trainees of color at GTIP. Michael Tyler Ramos is grateful to be able to give back to his community, recognizing that he could not have achieved his success as a private practitioner without the support of his mother, family, friends and mentors.

In order to apply for the Gloria E. Ramos Scholarship, prospective trainees should complete an application to the 3-year training program (or already be enrolled in the program) in addition to the Latinx Scholarship application. The deadline to apply for the scholarship for the 2023-2024 Training year is June 1.

Scholarship awards will be determined by July 1, 2023.
